Pears Natural Glycerin Soap - Review

Overall rating (9) Scale of 1-10

I went to the drug store looking for a gentle soap to use on my face and decided to try out Pears. I'm glad I found this soap!

Since I have started using it, my acne has been reduced significantly and my face just feels more clean and radiant. The glycerin makes this soap very gentle, and it acts to moisturize your skin.

For about a dollar per bar, this soap works like skin products that are many times more expensive. The rough and discolored patches of skin on my face just seem to be flaking off and getting replaced by clear and healthy skin.

The secret is the glycerin which is normally removed from the soap making process and used to create expensive creams. Pears rocks!

Proactiv Solution - Review

Overall Rating- (2) Scale of 1-10

I have extremely oily skin that is also highly sensitive. I
purchased the Proactive three piece starter kit and used it as
directed. After a few weeks my skin turned very irritated and red,
I was advised by their customer service department to try using the
products once a day instead of twice. I did as instructed and my
skin got progressively worse.

I am African American and after about 3 months of using the
Proactiv solution I had quite a few very bad dark marks and
discolorations on my face due to the irritation from the benzoyl
peroxide in the products. Also for a product that has to be used
that much it comes out to be quite expensive and was not worth it
at all. The only product from the entire line that did not
irritate my skin nor cause more problems was the refining mask.

Overall I would not recommend this product to people with sensitive
skin at all. Not worth the money or time. After using these
products it took about six months of working with a dermatologist
to get it right again.

MMPI by Patricia Wexler - Review

Overall rating - (10) Scale of 1-10

This product makes your face feel like silk. You only use a small
amount so it lasts a long time. When you use it at night, you wake
up in the morning still moist.

Deep Cleansing Oil

Overall Rating - (9) Scale of 1-10

DHC products are made with high-quality olive oil. This particular
product is terrific. It has a silky texture that breaks down dirt
and oil on your skin and it removes even the most stubborn eye
makeup (including waterproof mascara). It doesn't leave an oily
residue on your skin either. I think the directions recommend
using a gentle cleanser afterward to really clean the skin, but I
don't even know if it's necessary. It dissolves easily and rinses
away when you add water.

Philosophy.com - Review

Overall rating - (9) Scale of 1-10

Philosophy has a quality skincare line that is relatively affordable compared to many similar products.

I haven't discovered a product of theirs that I don't love. They are gentle and effective. Very slight fragrance, not overpowering. Overall wonderful skin care line.

Murad Resurgence Overall Rating... 9 stars

I currently use the Murad Resurgence Regimen and I recommend this product to anyone that has
hormonal skin aging, wrinkles, crows feet whatever. I received a free
sample kit from a friend for Christmas and I was a bit skeptical using
it.

I am 27 years old so I barely have signs of aging but I figured it
is never too early to start a form of skin regimen. Let me mention that
my skin is pretty sensitive so using any kind of products my face gets
real red or breaks out. However, the first time I used the Murad
Resurgence it felt so gentle on my skin, no redness and after I was
done I could feel the skin firmness.

The products smell real nice
almost like a citrus smell and they are highly concentrated. So just a
dab goes a  (read more)
